Ancient & Loyal Conclave No. 315 |

On Wednesday the 3rd of January 2018 the members of Ancient and Loyal Conclave met at the Masonic Hall in Bryn to Induct a new member into the Order of the Secret Monitor. In attendance was the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, Wy.Bro. John Bicknell, together with 6 other Grand Officers who are pictured with the Supreme Ruler and Candidate. |

| The Supreme Ruler, R.Wy. Bro. David Knight, opened the Conclave and then welcomed the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler to the Conclave on his first visit after being appointed to the office in September 2017 and offered him the gavel which was very quickly returned. | |

| Bro. Darren Andrew Poole of Academy Lodge No. 9382 was then Inducted into the first degree of the Order by the Supreme Ruler assisted by Wy. Bro. Geoff Catterall who presented the Lecture and V.Wy.Bro. Mike Allen who presented the Address to the Candidate. | |
| After the completion of the other domestic business the Conclave was Closed and the brethren adjourned to the bar for some light refreshment before sitting down to a most delicious banquet served from the excellent kitchen at Bryn by the very helpful and courteous staff. | |

The usual Toasts were given after the meal and the responses were kept suitably brief. The health to the candidate, Bro. Darren was given by his Proposer Wy.Bro. Graham Greenall who also presented him with a West Lancashire OSM tie for future meetings of the Order. |
